Welcome, @maria40 so great to have you on here!!
Hi! Just finished my ppOTD and am excited to find a platform to stay connected to OT literature and evidence! I am a pediatric OT and mom to two neurodivergent kiddos! I loved the free course with Bryden Carlson-Giving and have been following his amazing work! Happy to be here!
Welcome, @cristina6!! Congrats on your ppOTD! I’m glad you liked Bryden’s course, and I’m eager to do more episodes on neurodivergence in the future! If you ever have any suggestions for us, be sure to let me know!
Hello! I am a new OT grad and excited to start my first job in acute care! Excited to use this website to learn more!!
Ohhh! @christal I’m so happy your first job is in acute care! I think that is one of the best settings to learn in! I cherish all of my memories from there!
Hello! New Here!! Trying to reach max potential as an OTA!! I’m from Indianapolis,IN being practicing since 2010
Hello-I have joined the club and am so excited to be here. This was a door prize through Aspire OT for Occupational Therapy month. I am a seasoned OT for 30 years, living in Knoxville, TN. I run a small business for Home Modifications and Aging-in-Place called: Adapt & Stay. It has been an adventure and growing experience. I’m looking forward to networking within this group and learn anything and everything OT!
Thank you for this opportunity!
Welcome, @donyetta! One of our next podcast guests, Victoria Garcia Wilburn is a state representative from Indianaoplis! I’m sure I’ll say it on the podcast, but: I LOVE Indianapolis!!!
Great to have you, @trinya1!
Aspire OT has been great friends to us over the year!! So fun that you were their winner! Since you are a business owner, I definitely recommend you consider joining our public facing directory! I keep hearing such cool stories of opportunities that arise from people finding profiles on there!
Here’s where you can create your profile: My Profile • OT Potential
Hi, Wow! I’m so impressed with what you’ve built here and I’m excited to be part of it. Hello potent potentials! I’m currently actively connecting with OTs across the U.S. as part of my research recruitment efforts - limited to U.S. as it’s a Medicare home health study. Added bonus is I come across great communities like this one. I’m practicing home and community health in Los Angeles with a focus on neurological conditions. I assist with research at UCLA dept of neurology. Almost done with my PP-OTD! And I’m growing a private practice with a focus on dementia consulting and professional caregiver education programs. Interested to learn more about my peers here and get into some journal articles!
Welcome, @megan77!! I’m excited to help share your study! I’m working on adding the section this morning, and will ping you when it is ready! On Thursdays, we send out a newsletter to 20K OT professionals, so I think we can really help get research surveys in front of more people!
For your private practice, I recommend you consider joining our public facing directory! The profiles on there rank super well on Google- so could help connect you with new clients!

Hey @megan77! Our standard weekly email goes on out on Thursdays, but I’m going to send a special email tomorrow to announce our new sections!
Hello Everyone!
I’m Emily, an OT practicing pediatrics in Baltimore, MD. I am excited to learn from this platform and be in an OT learning community together.
Welcome, @emily97 so great to have you in here!
Hi! Happy to be here. I look forwards to hopefully getting up to date on research, getting practical, usable ideas, and connecting! I work in adult neuro rehab and technology.
Welcome, @suzanna2! I am on a big health tech quick right now! There is so much cool neuro rehab tech coming out- and I’m excited for upcoming courses with OTs in this space! Never hesitate to let me know what course content would be helpful to you!
Thanks Sarah! I always am interested in up to date research on modalities that we use in outpatient. E-stim, FES, ultrasound, kinesiotape, constraint induced, manual therapy… that sort of thing. Is the best way to complete CEUs to do the podcast on whatever app we use and then come back for the quiz?
Oooo that is super helpful to hear for topics. And, yes! The best way to is to listen on your favorite app, then come back here for a quiz and to let us know what you thought!
