Welcome to The OT Potential Club!

OT Potential provides such excellent information and resources for so many practice areas and issues. I’ve worked in the acute care setting for years and have recently become interested how hospital design affects recovery, stress levels, and even stress levels among staff. I look forward to being part of this group.

Welcome, @trisha4! I’m excited to have another acute care OT in here. I am SUPER interested in the future of hospitals. Have you listened to my episode on hospital at home? I hope we get to revisit that topic again- it was such a learning curve for me!

But, in the meantime, we will have several more acute care specific topics in the next few months!

Oh wow!! That AOTA ALC was so fun! It was exciting for me to see so many great minds in one place! Our students are lucky!

Looking forward to having you in here, @brittany20!

I’ve just renewed for this year as the OT P Club has become an essential resource in my work as a generalist community-based therapist! This year am planning to be a little more involved in comments. Thanks so much, Sarah and cheers from Sydney, Australia!

Wow! @Elle I am so honored to hear this! Never hesitate to send me ideas for improving the platform!

Oh awesome! I loved that discussion! (I wanted to be more vocal, but that’s always hard on a panel. ) The podcast episode we have coming out next week is such a great complement to that discussion- because it is all about the need for a growth mindset, in what is poised to be a rapidly changing healthcare arena!

Oh, I’m so glad to hear this, @jill15! I hope you find the membership really adds to listening experience! (Also: our episode for next week is awesome!!!)

Hello all!! My name is Jenna McDuffee, OTR/L; I work in CT providing OT and I enjoy incorporating nature and hippotherapy within my sessions. I am new to joining the group here and I am so very excited to be a part of this wonderful learning and connecting experience. I have loved listening to many of the OT Potential podcasts on audible as I travel to and from work and I look forward to listening in on many more! I have taken so much applicable and beneficial clinical information away from the podcasts offered on this platform, and I have only been listening for about a month. I am hooked! Thank you Sarah for offering such a great podcast to our world of OT!

Oh wow! That was such a fun discussion, @meenakshi! I’m excited to keep developing the Club to serve students and faculty (we’ve been pretty practitioner focused), so that is an exciting growth area for us!

I’m so glad you found us, @amy39!

Hi @jenna8! I’m so glad the podcast has been helpful! And, I’m excited to have another hippotherapy therapist in the Club! If you have any suggestion for someone to talk about hippotherapy on the podcast sometime, please let me know!
