Wow, @monica2 I just saw your job progression on LinkedIn today. You are doing such great work!!
I am an OT of 35 years and counting. I am also a RESNA certified ATP specializing in wheelchair seating and positioning at a hospital based outpatient clinic. I also started my own private practice 7 years ago as an independent contractor for virtual/cyber schools in PA. I use my puppetry skills as a therapeutic tool to engage my students. I am looking forward to being apart of this club and opportunity for ongoing professional growth and networking.
Welcome, @joy3!! We are so glad to have you!
I am happy to provide resources and discuss my experiences via podcast. While the NICU has been a niche for practitioners, I am excited to hear more and more practitioners are supporting maternal health as well!!!
I would LOVE to talk to you about this! We are scheduled through the rest of the year, but I just put your name on our list with NICU as a topic to discuss with our advisory board later this year when we plan for 2023! Thank you so much, @danielle23! I’ve really appreciated being connected with you via the Club!
Hello!! So glad I found this!
I’m glad you found us, @monica14!! We are currently working on being a little easier to find- because the information we cover feels so important!

Hello. I’m a COTA student in New York and am interested in using nature based therapies for working with kids.
Hey there my name is Valgerður and I’m a occupational therapist in Iceland. I am currently on a sick leaf after a work related accident. I haven’t been to work for a long time so I needed some inspiration and gain new knowledge.
Welcome, Amy!! We love our nature based therapists! Have you listened to my convo with Laura yet?
Also, have you joined this free community yet? I am part of it!
Hi Valgerður, welcome!! I’m so sorry about your work related accident. I do hope we can bring you some inspiration during this time. A great place to start- might be our episode on acceptance and commitment therapy. A work related accident plays a major role in Linda’s story as you will hear.
Also, if you join our directory- it would be so fun to have our first Iceland therapist on there- but totally fine if this isnt the right fit for you!
Hello!
This looks like a great resource and I am excited to have joined!
Hello! I’m a first year OTD student preparing to write my capstone and I love the podcast so I’m thrilled to have the club as a resource.
